NOTE: Due to the nature of construction activities, schedules are subject to change without prior notice.  We advise all motorists to be mindful of all posted signage, traffic control devices, flaggers and construction crews.

Paving Work - Section of Stanfield Rd
Paving work will start August 5th on Stanfield Road from Miller Road to Talla Drive.  Work will cause the road to be closed through December of this year.  Please be mindful of all traffic signage and use alternate routes.
 
 
Waterline work - McCartney Road
Arizona Water Company will be installing a new waterline along McCartney Road from I-10 to Weaver Road beginning Monday, June 3rd.  The majority of work will be on the shoulder, however there may be instances where traffic will be affected.  Work may last through September.  Please drive with caution.
 
Utility Gas Work - Edwin Road
Southwest Gas will be installing a new gas line along Edwin Rd from Capstan Ave to Lago Del Oro Pkwy beginning September 16th.  Majority of work will be along the shoulder of roadway with no intentions of affecting traffic.  However, if additional work needed does affect the roadway it may cause some traffic delays. Work anticipates to last through November.  Please drive with caution. 
 
Utility Work - Corner of Gary Road and Charbray Drive
Utility work will begin September 19th​ at the corner of Gary Road and Charbray Drive. Work is expected to last two weeks and may cause delays. Please plan for extra travel time and use caution while driving through work zones.
 
Utility Work - Johnson Ranch Blvd & Desert Willow Blvd
The intersection of Johnson Ranch Blvd and Desert Willow Blvd will have utility work beginning September 23rd. Work plans to last through the end of next week and will cause a closure of Desert Willow at Johnson Ranch Blvd during working hours. The section of road will re-open for after hours traffic, Royal Oak Way will be an alternate route.
 
Utility Work - Mirage Avenue near Hunt Highway
​There will be utility work on Mirage Avenue beginning September 23rd. Work expects to last for two weeks and it will cause a lane closure on Mirage Avenue. Traffic WILL NOT be allowed to access Hunt Highway from Mirage Avenue, however traffic WILL be allowed to turn from Hunt Highway onto Mirage Avenue. Please allow extra time for your commute and use caution while driving through work zones .
 
City of Mesa - Utility Gas Work on Skyline Drive
 
Update (9/5/2019): Due to the ongoing Mesa Gas replacement project beginning Monday, September 9th Skyline Drive will be closed east of Charbray Drive.  The closure is scheduled for one month.  Subdivision access will be from Charbray Drive and Busa Drive.  Please Drive with caution.
 
 
 
The City of Mesa will be doing utility gas work on Skyline Drive between Hunt Highway and Gantzel Road starting the week of June 17th. The project is estimated to last through the end of the year and will include lane closures and flagging. Please be mindful of all traffic signage and drive with caution. Additional information will be provided when available.
 

 ‭(Hidden)‬ Roadwork Outside County Limits


Combs Road
Eastbound and westbound lane closures between Meridian Road and Warrior Way for pavement striping work.  December 7th - 30th: 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.

 ‭(Hidden)‬ Information from Town of Queen Creek


Riggs Road to be Completed by Town of Queen Creek and Maricopa County Department of Transportation
The Town of Queen Creek is working in partnership with MCDOT to complete Riggs Road from Ellsworth Road to Meridian Road.  The new, two-lane roadway will serve as a major access point for the south east portion of Town, and will help improve transportation throughout Queen Creek.
